She Builds recognizes how vital we are. After our brilliant event last year, where so many of you joined us live and in person, we decided that the pandemic was not going to outshine us.
COVID-19 has completely upended the way we live our lives: the way we work, educate our families and share time with our loved ones. We have been forced to make sacrifices and rethink our goals, all-the-while, putting one foot in front of the other, to keep moving forward—to provide, achieve and succeed.
This desire to persevere is our own innate glow, forging us to BUILD A BRIGHTER FUTURE.

We Illuminate the Way for Women to Build Their Dreams
This year, She Builds is going virtual, allowing our members to safely meet and get hands-on with an activity sure to brighten our spirits. We’ll be making our very own steampunk lamp creations.
Virtually follow along through Zoom as a panel of She Builds members meet at the Chicago Women in Trades Shop to lead our live steampunk lamp-making event. Each lamp building kit is $100, and all proceeds will go towards supporting women/youth programs in the construction industry in both Illinois and Wisconsin.
Together, She Builds… Community, Opportunity, Courage, Diversity, Strength, Partnership and Momentum.
